Overview

Olive Assistant is a personal-use AI assistant. This policy explains how Google user data may be accessed and used when the owner authorizes Olive Assistant to connect to Google services.

Google user data accessed

Depending on the permissions granted by the user, Olive Assistant may access data from services including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Sheets. This may include email content and metadata, calendar events, files and file metadata, and spreadsheet content.

How Google user data is used

Google user data is used only to provide user-requested functionality, such as reading or organizing email, sending email at the user's request, managing calendar events, locating or working with Drive files, and reading or updating Sheets.

Data sharing

Olive Assistant does not sell Google user data. Google user data is not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Data may be processed by infrastructure or service providers only as necessary to operate the assistant and fulfill the user's requested actions.

AI and model training

Google Workspace API data obtained through Olive Assistant is not used to train generalized or publicly available AI or machine-learning models.

Storage and security

Authentication credentials and application data are stored only as needed to operate the assistant. Reasonable technical safeguards are used to protect credentials and user data from unauthorized access.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained only as long as needed for the assistant's operation or the user's requested workflows. The user can revoke Google access at any time from their Google Account permissions. Locally stored credentials or cached data can also be removed from the assistant's system.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Olive Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
